Texas Insider Bobby Burton doesn't like 5* David Stone and wants you to know it

Stone is talented but I have heard numerous people say he is the last one out to practice and the first one to leave. Talent alone isn't going to carry you if that's the kind of work ethic you have.

Not a great look for anybody involved, tbh.
A kid isn't ranked in the top 10 of all recruits by accident, so that take by Burton is poor and probably sour grapes.
As a 5-star recruit, that kid should start getting used to blocking out the noise. What Burton said was probably unfair (I admittedly haven't watched the video clip), but calling out writers that doubt you isn't a good look when you're going to be playing big time college football and beyond after high school. If any of Alabama's QBs did something like this after the past couple of weeks on twitter they'd be crucified

He's probably a tad out of his league at IMG. He would dominate Oklahoma ball though.

This is typical recruiting bullshite him and Ketchum always rate all the OU guys low when the rest of nation always tell you the true picture …. You ever wonder why Texas has the highest rated class and loses when they play OU ….. they wouldn’t even rate the elite 11 winning qb the best overall qb in the class because he committed to OU …. They went with Arch who barely has an arm to throw a 10 yard cross the field pass….. so fricking overrated .

Just a visit that never happened… Missouri was never in play for Stone never even thought of … like the abyss there is nothing there …. Stop trolling it’s a bad look. You know who your daddy is ….. and please come up with something better than the sec rant melt deal it’s old and used up.
You would think if this so called visit would take place Missouri would be in his top 5 meanwhile Missouri wasn’t even listed in his top15-20. Trolling only works if it’s somewhat believable .

Stone is one of the most dominant DTs recruiting has seen since Ed Oliver. He dominates at img. He will be a 1st rounder easily.
