He seems pretty "meh" to me. Should do well on the pine in Tuscaloosa.

But he commits to a school that already has 4 & 5 star RBs on the team and others that are committed in this class

Well if nothing else, he should get plenty of 3rd and 4th quarter carries against teams such as AR his first year.

Tenpenny will get plenty touches as a frosh at Bama. He is college ready physically and will get his turn just like Coffee, Ingram, T-Rich and Lacy! Gonna be a good back, the Hogs got a good one in Collins too!

If he was worried about playing time Bama has a lot more to scare him off than Arkansas.

Sure he is:

Roll Tenpenny! “@Boobie_Miles_22: I'm 100% to BAMA..!! #rolltide #rodeto16”

rode(the bench) to 16

He knows he'll have to pay his dues behind Yeldon for awhile.

I'm just happy we ended up with 1 out of Tenpenny/Collins. Congrats to Bama (bastages).

Honestly, while it's obviously preferable to keep in-state talent in-state, I always appreciate someone sticking by a commitment.

Obviously getting another well-regarded recruit like Collins helps(and one who seems like a genuine human being who will be easy to root for), but even had we not, I just can't really find it within me to wish 17-18 year olds ill will for making a personal decision that doesn't -really- affect me at all.

Of the RBs we are taking in this class (Henry, Jones, Tenpenny and more than likely Kamara) Tenpenny is the one I was wanting the most. He' 5'11" 212 lbs and therefore already has the physique to come in and make an impact.

I know he's been quoted as saying he'd play whatever position the team needs (i think i remember that anyway). Any of the other RB's say similar? What are the Bama fans thoughts on which, if any, RBs get moved to other positions?
