TS had a post over in our recruiting thread calling out the number of 4/5* athletes in all the major southeastern states... 2019 is a bumper crop man... the shitty part is, it means that some of the programs that might not recruit as well will likely luck into some really talented kids as well... there is more than enough to go around... evaluations going to be important.
Alabama could fill out its entire OL class and take two QBs from the talent in the state of Alabama alone. Banner crop but top heavy. However, our 500 mile radius is downright nasty.

How about UGA and Alabama make a pact to take all the great recruits and leave AU, UF, UT, CU, etc. with no big name croots.
Bama fans, y'all down with this?

Kirby is creating the Kirby Dynasty right before our eyes

I think a bama fan would know a little more about dynasties than an Arkansas fan.

I'm down.
Let's raid Louisiana while we're at it.

We get first pick in Florida and y'all get first pick in Texas. Y'all raid LA while we raid NC.

Uh, we need the RB in North Carolina.
You take the top player in West Virginia and let us have NC.

I'm talking about Quavaris Crouch.

Damn that kid is big. Why does NC spit out RB talent every year?

No idea, but Crouch is a stud.
Hopefully he won't end up at Clemson.

Clemson doesn't deserve the success they've had. I hope they are taken back down to mediocrity soon.

Unfortunately, I think they have a big lead. Best chance for him to go elsewhere was for them to skip a beat this year or next and struggle... looking right now like that's highly unlikely for this season. There's always next of course.

On the upside for us, he seems to be pretty friendly with Zeus... but I don't see us with a great shot at Cain or Crouch in 2019 right now... particularly if we land Cook in this class as well. Swift + Zeus + Cook is bad enough of a depth chart to try and crack through... let alone Holyfield and Herrien as possible upper classmen still on the roster. Could change... but going to have to see how class of 18 shakes out along with this season to believe it.
