Haha. You know the drill. You're a quick learner, good sir.

Narcisse is a big overlook

For the top 100, think Jacoby Stevens, Chris Allen, and Devonta Smith are bigger oversights.

But they will have plenty of time to adjust these rankings.

We also lead for Deangelo Gibbs right now. That can and probably will change 10 times between now and Feb. 2017, but he's been smitten by Bama for quite a while now.

Well, as far as I know we've been his leader for over a year. He doesn't even live an hour from Athens.

Well, there's his sister, DeAngela, his grandmother, Flossie Mae, his mother, Ethel, his uncle, Grady, and his cousin, "Snood" for starters. His barber is also telling people Bama. There's one snag that might make me reconsider, as his pastor seems to be pushing UGa pretty hard. All in all, these tea leaves are telling me he signs with the good guys most likely. If UGa tries any funny bidnus, though, the REC will seal the deal, though, I'm sure.

I'm sure that sounded funnier in your head.

K. Well, how about this one? A former player speaks to a couple of the assistants on staff regularly. Up until a month or so ago (last report), they are saying Bama is "way out in front right now". Those were his exact words. This former player is the very opposite of a sunshine pumper or someone who "thinks we're going to get everybody". Whatever the case, there are several people around him that thinks he's a big Bama lean right now.

Getting that excuse built in a year and a half early. Nice.

See how easy that was?

We have Clay committed and Warrior visited this weekend so hopefully that bodes well for us. I expect Pruitt to essentially get who he wants on that side of the ball at this point, it's been ridiculous. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

That whole backfield has P5 offers. Crazy.

Getting offers from shitty programs is meaningless. Hines makes a lot of visits on his own dime and attends a bunch of camps. Would North Texas or ULM even bother offering a guy like Dylan Moses?

Pruitt is certainly one heck of a recruiter/talent evaluator. Honestly, Saban relied a lot on him for evaluations on that side of the ball. Saban is a great one himself at evaluating, but seemed to get a bit carried away by "star" rankings for a couple years. Half of FSU's best DBs over the last few years oould have wound up in Bama uniforms had we evaluated them properly (namely Jalen Ramsey, Nate Andrews, and another one whose name I'm forgetting). Saban is back at doing more of the camp evals (like in the 08 and 09 classes) and I frankly love it. But Pruitt will be a head coach sooner than later.

I'll add to that and say that I think McClendon is an excellent evaluator, too. Between his finds of Gurley, Chubb, and Emmons when those guys weren't elite yet, that's quite a resume (if Emmons is as good as it looks like he'll be to my eyes). I hope Bama has a decent shot with Emmons. We have a huge need for numbers at RB. We have two freaks (Harris and Scarborough), but the numbers are VERY low on scholarship and Scar will be coming back from an ACL tear.

Isn't Troxall expected to commit to Bama relatively soon?
