i get the feeling we are recruiting them for different things but yea probably wouldnt want to commit to a team thats getting someone like evans even if he would still have a legitimate role in the offense

we will see i guess, kind of a weird spot to be in. i feel like we are going to take ngata and then just keep communicating with evans to see where the chips end up falling with him and if getting evans costs us ngata, so be it

You tell all 4 that you have 2 spots and Milton has claimed one of them, next spot belongs to whoever takes it first. Evans would be the biggest prize but obviously has factors to consider that make him the hardest to pull while Bigsby finally earned a committable offer and McLellan is no slouch himself.

UGA holds the cards in this bluff with their RB room, returning OL, and Milton already committed and waiting to go public. Kirby wants the majority of his class wrapped up before the season and knows he is in good shape with any one of Evans, Bigsby, or McLellan to go with Milton

there is no BLUFF - Dawgs are taking two RBs and Milton will take the first spot on Monday night. While there is no doubt Dawgs want Evans, I don't know that they will wait to December and get jilted like they did w/ Trey Sanders.

I'm good w/ Milton and Bigsby. "Bird in the hand" and all that jazz.

Exactly, Milton has the first spot (unless massive surprise Monday).

Whoever wants to commit next has the next. Whether its Tank (who is now almost a 5 star) or Evans. Whoever is willing to pull the trigger gets the last spot. If Evans somehow wants to be with Milton before that happens then he needs to make it public.

Trey Sanders

I’m interested to see how good he will be. I think he finished the #1 running back (not sure) and he looked good when I watched him, but everytime I saw the backs last class Emery and Dollars impressed me more than Sanders did. I’m sure he will be a great running back though.

Hearing Evans, Milton, Bigsby & McClellan will be in Athens for BBQ this weekend. That is 4 of the top 7 backs per 247composite

How do you recruit this without stepping on toes?

That would be interesting. UGA produces NFL RBs in bunches so they have a talking point to use.

Must have been a change of plans, maybe he wanted to come see the new football ops. Idk, but he is on an unofficial to LSU this weekend.

He can’t do both? Maybe he’s going to LSU today and UGA tomorrow.

Well then there was some very poor phraseology by the members of our board. They made it sound like he was there for the weekend

That was last night, I’d imagine he left to go to UGA cookout this weekend. I heard he’s visiting Bama Monday too

A lot of guys have started making their way home. You have the out-of-state guys that are spending the weekend in town, though. I am doubting Zach Evans does an interview but there is talk from a few people that the Aggies are doing very well in their pursuit of him.
