Yeah. The coach who welcomed everybody to the PC talked about what a piece of trash Robert is and how he's a horrible kid.

I'm not the one of posted that and have no idea where it came from. I'm not even sure if it's completely true.

That's why I kept saying "if true"...

He told his family he was going to Pitt on Wednesday. He changed his mind last night.

I love the stereotypical remarks on Pitt boards about the state of Alabama and the SEC. Also the usual "Saban's leaving, we'll still get him" or "he'll never qualify".

Pennsylvania is like Alabama with more worthless assholes in it. Would probably my number 1 choice of states to get rid off.

Even if true, will not matter. Saban is the most revered disciplinarian in the sport. Would be a great environment for him. To compare him to Zeke Pike coming into a situation at Auburn with no discipline and a coaching staff full of trash is laughable.

Surely it has to hurt to be so stupid?

In all fairness, he would be sleeping with the woman at the same time. Hence why he left Alabama in the first place.

Here's what I've heard...rumors of course.

He may be JUCO bound for a bit; grades are a bit of an issue people have been saying since OSU was in it a while ago and may have been in it towards the end

He is a great talent and an absolute stud on the field. Rumor is that Meyer cooled on him after his official where he was kind of blah about a lot of the academic things the school offered and his attitude wasn't good. And if Meyer cools on you, you know you must have some serious problems

That was Robert Foster's brother sitting in his lap during his announcement, not his child FYI.

Some Bama mods are saying the academic issues are primarily from sophomore year (had a pretty turbulent home life around that time), but that he's been working on getting it corrected the last couple years. Still has some work to do but has a good chance of making it in if he takes care of business in his last semester.

As for his attitude, certainly could be an issue based on his ejection from a game and suspension from earlier in the season. I do like what he and his coach said about choosing Bama because the Bama coaches told him repeatedly that playing at Bama is the hardest thing he'll ever have to do and he's going to be forced to work hard every day in practice. He was turned off by programs that told him he'd be playing as a freshman and moving up draft boards by his sophomore year.
