I've predicted multiple times that this was going to be your stance on LF until the very end. You can claim it's as close as you want to. But even if you THINK it's 51% LSU and 49% Alabama, he'll still end up at LSU. Kind of like Hootie. Hootie SAYS it was so close, but what does that provide LSU in the end... nothing... just like Alabama and LF.
Incoming RBs mean nothing to LF. He knows he's #1 by a large margin. He is also friends with Darrel Williams and their fathers are friends. All of that information is directly from Williams' coach. You think LF expects LSU, who could very well only have ONE returning RB on the roster next year, to not recruit another RB? Please. LSU cleared the entire depth chart for him. That 2>1 crap is dumb.

Congrats! Really is a good pick up. Why did Sione Palelei switch to OSU? Really was odd to me.

I dont think we told him he'd be a "change of pace" guy but I guess he thinks we might get another good RB in this class.

But he has known since way before he committed there was 90% or better LF was coming to LSU. I guess he would rather be top dog at OSU, rather than a change of pace at LSU. Anyway, Darrel Williams is a super consolation prize.

A few players on the OSU team are of the same nationality(slips my mind at the moment) as Palelei. This along with them telling him he will be their #1 RB signee made a huge impression on him. It still was odd to me because he said that it was a dream come true getting that offer from LSU and he busted him rear end in getting that offer.

Isn't he and his family a transplant into Louisiana? I know some kids have larger family connections in other areas and have moved for jobs etc

Family moved from Utah from what I recollect.

They moved to Louisiana because of work for his dad at one of the chemical plants. I don't think they really have any family out in the OSU area.
