I'd say he is closer to 210 but has the frame to play at 230 to 240 at MLB

Trust me. First hand. It varies from 222-227 on the scale depending on how long after Friday night he's weighed.

ESPN is almost as distant from knowing weight as Scout is in rating... #70 LB

Richie without question is the #1 LB in Mississippi.

Richie had 3 TDs last night leading Long Beach to a 31-28 playoff victory over Brookhaven.

I just saw his updated stats on Max Preps and he has 181 tackles this season tops in the State of Mississippi.

Word is he had a great trip to Starkville for the MSU/Bama game and will be back for the EGG BOWL.

Looking at his senior film, looks like his best position is as a TE/H-back. Runs nice routes and has very good hands. Would excel in an Urban Meyer offense (much like Aaron Hernandez). Will probably be an ok LB if that's where he ends up (i.e. Muncie, Welter at LSU).

I would think that Deion Jones and Devall are LSU's targets at LB, and we already have a couple of TE's in this years class, so I don't see us going after Brown unless Jones (or possibly Phillips) falls through.

Jake Holland 2.0.

At no point is that a flame either. Holland had very similar stats (defensively at least) in HS and similar measurables. Very cerebral player too with good instincts. If you guys get him, he could turn into a very good LB for you. I think Holland will develop into one for us as well, in time.

How pissed will MSU be if they lose the top LB in the state two years in a row that was at one time considered an MSU lock?

Three-star linebacker Richie Brown (Long Beach, Miss./Long Beach) knew Freeze at his old job and was impressed with him enough to keep looking at Ole Miss.

"He did a great job at Arkansas State," Brown told Newberg. "That's where I knew [Freeze] because they were recruiting me. I am glad he got the Ole Miss job and I think he will do very well. I just want to get up there and hang out with those guys and get a feel for how they are."

If he played like a freshman in the SEC that was moved from LB to DE because of injuries? I was actually pretty pleased with CJ seeing what he was thrown into. I'm guessing you are one of those who are "glad that sumbitch didn't come here!". I can see you really know what you are talking about. It's time to GTFO, seriously...
