wait, so you don't think a GA was responsible for all of Tom Brady's success??

Noone thinks this, but he has played a pretty big part in his development, and Tom Brady has said as much many times.

Tom seems to think he was partly responsible.

You're letting your hate blind actual facts about him.

Hey everyone, look at this guy. He has never been wrong about anything ever. Especially not something as mundane as what year someone was a player and what year they were a GA. Stanky Legg is officially the voice of knowledge and fact on these here boards. We are all just swimming in a sea of wrong, hoping you will throw us a line from your passing boat of right.

Its not blind hate, he is an awful coach. I dislike him more than Greg Robinson, that should say something.

So, when you're spouting off at the mouth, it's the basis for a well-informed opinion?

But when you're wrong, it's mundane and I'm the one getting mocked?

Can't have it both ways, internet cool guy.

I guess we should ignore everything Tom Brady and Gene Chizik say about him. You're the expert here. Brady is just all All-Pro quarterback and Chizik is just a National Championship winning Head Coach.

Do you know why they have Rettig ranked higher than Bateman?

No, I do not know for sure….but, I have read where many coaches/recruiting services have gotten giddy over him again just after watching him throw at his school recently. They said he was stronger and more accurate than he was before the injury. That warranted a 40 spot jump in Rivals rankings alone. We will know for sure after his senior season….but, before the injury occurred he was in contention for being the top rated QB in this class. He was USC’s guy for a while, and then they backed off after the injury occurred and Max Browne jumped on board. Overall I think most recruiting guys think he has a little bit better mechanics than Bateman…..but, only time will tell ;-)

He definitely had a big part in his development...working with QB's around to '96 to '99 i believe ( i could be wrong on the dates). Sometimes it's the percentages and overall impact that gets misconstrued.

Look..a buddy of mine is a civil engineer in Atlanta...and worked on the Woodruff Arts Center Expansion in Midtown. On his resume....you would have thought he designed and built the whole thing by himself...brick by brick.
He's not lying....he did work on the project. Hey...I would have done the same thing.

Thats some half assed shite, and the reason why 247 is eating Rivals lunch.

I expect Rettig to blow up this year. He's gonna get that LSU 5 star bump.

Its possible, but to base a ranking off 1 time watching a kid throw in a no pressure situation and watching a kid throw 1 time with the flu is not fair to either one of them. 247 does their due diligence, and has seen both throw multiple times, in multiple settings.

Did I read right that he missed his entire junior year and still highly ranked?

He must be seriously full of natural ability.

At least they have a basis for their reasoning. If they've only seen the kid one time, that's what they have to go on.

They aren't spouting off straight up fallacies like some anonymous internet posters try to do.

Cough cough.

Link to where I said anyone was better than anyone? All I said was that I put more trust in 247, and they say Bateman is the best of the three.

yea. He threw for 500+ in his first game his JR year and like 250 the second game. I think he had 5 or 6 Tds and 2 picks then got injured. I read he started as sophomore in one of the toughest districts in CA football. If it werent for his injury, he would likely be a top 50 recruit.
