Sounds like 2 sec fans are going to the SEC championship game and you are upset about it.

Any fan that puts on a teams t shirt or cap can be considered a booster by the ncaa even if he pulls for other teams and never attended the school.
A booster is anything or anyone the ncaa determines them to be.

It's happened before.

Give some examples

Never seen them determine a random fan a booster.

The kid went to Tennessee. He was recruited by Bama during the Dubose years, i think.

He was a D'lineman, I remember the ncaa classified a person as a booster for Alabama that did something for the kid.

Dubose was a cheat, but they used a few questionable tactics to hammer us with this kid.

Somebody should be able to find the details...i gotta run to work or i'd look it up.

I believe the NCAA would first have to establish the fan in this situation is a booster and the information you gave us does not establish that.

If you are talking about A Means yes Logan Young was a booster for UA.

So just looked up Logan Young.

Had a $40,000 box in Bryant-Denny. Had a life insurance policy that would pay $500,000 to the Bear Bryant Musuem.

So doesn’t sound like some random fan that just “put a shirt and cap on”.

Give money to the school = booster

Sad you can tell how old some fans are by what they post. Any Alabama fan around that time still knows the booster and players name.

Don't think he is referring to Logan Young, and Albert Means.

Kenny Smith was DL who signed with Alabama, and Ray Keller of Stevenson was the supposed booster in question. There is no defending Logan Young, but there is a lot BS in those charges against Alabama.

And yes, Kenny Smith later attended Tennessee.

Lot more to the story.
