Unlikely. The Manvel trio seems to be firm again. That right there puts us at 13. If Wilson picks Arkansas then it would be the new lower ranked LBs we are targeting turn us down and then we miss on like 10 other guys who have us in their final few. I think 15 would be the low end with 18-21 more likely.

Prince was offered by sumlin today. Could see him jumping. Preston is visiting austin, and O'Neal is committing to clemson tonight. Assuming Wilson and the Manvel LB stick, that puts us at 12. Waddle is leaning bama, brown and white flipped to bama and ou. Strong is leaning ole miss, beal is likely going bama after the visit. Taylor-Stuart is a bama lean, martin is leaning UW, and ojomo is visiting oregon instead. This staff could flip a guy or two, but i would be shocked if we reach 15 unless we take fliers on a bunch of no names. If you include the UCF RB transfer then it would be 16

Could or could not.

No he's not

Its after midnight in SC. Doesn't look like anything is happening tonight. Her recent CBs have been A&M.

I'll wait until it all plays out, but I don't think you're going to be right.

He probably didn't scroll all the way to 63.

One of the TA recruit types expects us to have a class of 24.

If Morris can get this class into the 30's then he did a hell of a job IMO

There is no way. I’m guessing 20-21 at the very most

Yeah i was surprised by that. The law of averages say that is nearly impossible, especially since they also say we don't lead for most of the guys who make up that list. Outside of the Manvel guys, the rest are, at best, tossups, and those guys are tossups with Clemson and Alabama who were CFP teams the last 3 yrs.

We have 10 now.

As far as I know, we are still recruiting the following
Manvel Trio*
Wilson*
ITS
Waddle*
O'Neal*
Beal*
Alaimo*
Ossai
Martin
Ojomo
Jackson*
Brown
Strong*
Jashaun
Gerald
Wheat*
Parker*
Sanders*
Coburn
Porter
White

If we hit on 1/3 of them and our class is at 17. 1/2? We're at 22. This is assuming I covered everyone too. I am sure new names will come out if we miss on these guys or is someone else shows interest.

Of those, the Manvel trio looks likely.
Wilson is a tossup, though Fisher might not be that concerned about him. ITS seems to be trending Bama-UGA though we are in it, but thats more like 1:3. Waddle is a tossup that Bama has been getting CBs lately for. O'Neal seems to be a tossup, but he has had many chance to jump back in and hasn't so i am skeptical. Beal is visiting Bama this weekend, so if they push i doubt he makes it to monday uncommitted. Alaimo is a wildcard, he has another visit, but likely a 3 way tie right now. Ossai's handlers want him in austin. Martin is a tossup with okies and Washington. Jackson is a tossup but a Bama commit. Brown is a bama commit, strong is a tossup with ole miss. Jashuan seems to have 10 favorites. Gerald is a UF-TN lean. Wheat and Parker are interesting but are also committed to other SEC schools. Sanders was off the radar till today so i have no clue about him. Coburn is likely to go purple Baylor before coming here. Porter is interesting, i dont know much about him. White was an okie even when committed to us. I could see 1 or 2 guys as a safe bet. They could get 4 or they could be shut out too. Getting past 16 or 17 with the current 10 plus this seems like a stretch.

You seem to be calling everything a toss up.

O’Neal no longer has a single CB for Clemson. He should be back.

TA & the CBs on 247 say we lead for Waddle too.

I’ve seen a couple project Alaimo to be our next commit.

You seem to have an overly pessimistic view. But let’s revisit after signing day.

I hope so, but we will see. We need a change of momentum. O'Neal is resisting coming back right now.

O'Neal just wants you to beg. You'll get him.

Let's compare this to last year. (2018 rank as of 1/26)

7. LSU, Ed Orgeron (13)
18. Oregon, Willie Taggert (n/a)
29. t.u., Todd Herman (3)
30. Baylor, Matt Rhule (29)
55. Indiana, Tom Allen (39)
64. Minnesota, PJ Fleck (25)
70. Purdue, Jeff Brohm (38)
78. Justin Wilcox, Cal (44)

Looks like just about everyone is making a jump from year 1. LSU is moving the wrong direction and BU is close to the same.

When I saw that, I thought. I don't remember Paul Johnson being fired or hired away, but I don't follow GT so maybe I missed it. I also didn't recognize Shawn Elliot, but there a lot of up and coming coaches I don't know about.

I was looking at Georgia State.

This was my exact thoughts, I was thinking why do they still run the triple option then

Looked it up and see where the easy mistake was made
