Not really though. There are plenty of very talented Mississippi players that haven’t been properly evaluated because of the lack of camps this year. Mississippi is usually very under evaluated by recruiting services because of the lack of coverage. There are multiple 3 stars that are probably more 4* caliber.

This is true. There are several 4 star talents that are currently under ranked, which is not unusual for Mississippi, but the recruiting scouts have not done any work here lately. Some of these players are juco. Why Ole Miss doesn't recruit MS jucos harder is probably because it won't help their ranking, which is what they hang their hat on. But it would make them better on the field, which is what actually counts.

That’s loser mentality there. Every program is competing on the same recruiting field right now and these players will definitely matter in two years. But if y’all wanna take a year off from recruiting, by all means

Yeah man new coaches who were on campus for a month before they were forced to shut down and not have recruits visit the school or see recruits perform at summer camps are clearly not at a disadvantage when competing against coaches who have been recruiting the same players to the same school for several years.

That hasn’t really hurt Arkansas, State or Missouri as much as it’s clearly hurting ole miss but keep telling yourself that. Are you sure it’s not because recruits can’t be in Oxford surrounded by boosters?

I wouldnt consider 38th with 13 commits doing well or 50th with 10 commits. Both of those classes look like trash but its still really early maybe yall can do better.

None of those look like SEC recruiting classes.

Lol because Ole Miss wouldn’t trade their right hand for the best OL in the state, a highly rated 4* QB and a highly rated 4* WR that runs a 4.3? You’re mental dude.

No we need defensive players. We already have better QB’s and WR’s and OL’s on our roster than those jabronis you mentioned.

There’s really nothing else to say other than we are off to a piss poor start in recruiting. Every coach is dealing with COVID and while we still have a ways to go until early signing period, our staff needs to pick it up. We’re not being selective or passing on guys until they can visit, we just flat out aren’t recruiting well right now. Hope it changes.

Need to show a better product on the field before a lot of top prospects take a hard look at Ole Miss. Unfortunately it's looking like Kiffin won't get an opportunity to do that this year.

Rightttttt. All that elite talent stockpiled in Oxford that you’re, well, not putting in the NFL.

What isn't going on? It's Murphy's law for the new staff. Plenty of excuses, but you can't rest on excuses at this level. Hopefully they can put it together by signing day.

Ole Miss has a pretty solid NFL presence.

We’re talking current rosters remember? And ole miss didn’t have a single guy drafted from their current roster last year.

Well the current roster hasn't been drafted or they wouldn't be current, but last year's senior class did not have anyone drafted if that's what you mean. It's only happened twice in 20 years so doesn't seem to be a trend.
