Is Keith the other name people call Mike Farrell?

I'm just ready for NSD to get it all over with. I do want to see how the Evans party goes on Campus if Kirby tries to invite himself in, though.
I'm not clear on exactly why the grandfather is having a party on Auburn's campus. Is there immediate family in school there that hasn't been mentioned? Honest question and not flaming because I have no idea. I just think it's weird that a group of people who doesn't go to a college presently would want to have a party on campus. I know when I was in school, common areas were usually for students and faculty only, unless a special event or some sporting event was taking place.

Grandmother's birthday? I thought it was the grandfather's. Not that it matters, just curious.

when did someone named Keith come into play? When did Evans eliminate UCLA?

It is the grandfather and he is a big Auburn fan which is why the party is there. I know you are hoping this is some sort of recruiting violation but, I can assure you that they would not be doing this if it were.

Never implied it was a violation. In fact, even if it were a minor violation, it would be a calculated risk worth taking because, who would complain? Alabama? Not a chance. too much risk in alienating the family. I just think it's weird to have a party on a campus you aren't currently enrolled at, fan or not.

It's an Auburn thing, you couldn't possibly understand.

So random people are just allowed to come have parties on campus because they are fans?

If everyone read the rest of that Mike Farrell article, you'd know he's guessing on most guys.
Said in the same article that Bo Scarbrough is a flip possibility even if he's recruiting heavily for Bama.
It's not his job to be in the loop, and it shows. He had probably the closest relationship any analyst could have with Hand, and still whiffed.
ETA: Not specifically pointed at Rocky.

Did you read my post? You won't understand no matter how we explain. Stop doing this to yourself.

Yes, you said it's an Auburn thing and I wouldn't understand. Well your right, I don't. That's why I asked. I already said I knew it wasn't a violation, just weird and uncommon, that's all.

Auburn Lock. Will stay home like MH did.

Not sure how it is uncommon. People get married in stadiums because they are a fan but not officially a part of said organization. His father is an alum so maybe the grandfather is as well. Not to mention you can rent facilities out and AU might have the best in that area.
Not really sure where your concern is or why it seems out of place. I mean my daughter had her birthday party at the UNC sports complex during a women's soccer game. By the way she is only 5.

If I had the chance to have my birthday party at the Redskins /Auburn/Georgetown facility I sure as frick would. Not sure how having a party at your fav sports teams place is not cool. Not like it is out of the way for anyone going to the Evans party to even travel there anyways.

True. I guess I never looked at it that way. My daughter is in engineering school at Auburn and she just saw told me the same thing. I just never saw it in school. Of course, I got an MBA from Cal and I wouldn't set foot back on that place, even if it were on fire and I was the only one that could put it out. Buncha dirty hippies.

I mean if you had the chance to have your bday at Bamas (I assume from your logo) facilities, get a tour from the HC and staff, and generally have assistants help run the party (I don't think it is a violation for tigerettes to help cater/ serve as long as the Evans pay for the food).
That is not something you don't get offered often and is cool. The alternative is probably at their house for a dinner or something like the 70+ years of his life before this year. If I could provide that for my dad at West Point I'm pretty sure he would die a happy man (he is an academy grad)

I went to Bama for one semester waiting on my DED for the Marines. I got my BS from South but I see your point. That's all I asked for; nothing nefarious. I even stated as much.

Just noticed the WMA reference. My dad was a Naval Academy grad and a carrier pilot in WW2. Nice.
