quote:Thats already been said by his dad. The coaches are at the school pressuring him constantly too and the students aren't going to be any different next week.
his parents are keeping him home so he can make a decision without pressure. Im glad you think hes such a lock..
I don't consider anyone a lock until they sign and yes he can change his mind but since his visit everything he and his dad has said points to Auburn.
Rashaan comes out of his Auburn visit says he likely knows where he is going and cancels his UCLA visit. He says the Star position at Auburn now looks just as good as OLB at Bama, which was their biggest selling point. Says the Auburn recruits came and showed they were really his friends and not just recruiting him which Bama's didn't do. His dad comes on Andrew Bone's (Huge Bama Homer) show last night and talks about how Gus has Auburn on the right track and he believes Rashaan can help them make another run at a National Championship. All while not mentioning Bama's team or what he could do for Bama.
Him staying out of school and away from people asking where he is going and coaches showing up all the time doesn't trump all that. It doesn't even suggest he has picked Bama because the students at the school wouldn't know who he picked and would still ask all the time even if he had his mind made up to go to Auburn.

exactly... the fact he's staying out of school doesn't tip things one way or the other...
fwiw, i'll hold no ill will towards Evans... 6 months ago, we had next to no shot at this guy... if not for our amazing run this season, he'd likelyh already be committed elsewhere.

The fact is there is nothing that AU can offer that UA can not. Both schools he has the chance to see the field early, stay instate, get developed, and make it to the NFL. Even both schools offer him the opportunity to play for championships.
The only deciding factor I can see here is what position he wants to play, not in college but in the NFL. Which school gets him closer to that dream. I guess which one gives him the greatest chance to succeed. Everything else both schools can give.

Holy shite this needs to come to an end. I just want the sob to pick a school already. UAB would be a good fit just as long as it's over

Well there are definitely more deciding factors than that

You do know Rashaan made mention of the fact coaches are coming to the school and pulling him from classes right?
That would make the most sense. Keep the coaches away and come Monday they can not visit him at school or contact him.
No matter though what is going on he is no lock for any school and this is a lot closer then some want to believe. Because if AU was his choice or as some like to think he was lock to them why not just announce AU, get it over with, and do the same thing by keeping him out of school and away from other coaches. Right now they are avoiding both schools.
Again I still call it for AU but this has gotten very interesting.

He doesn't want to go ahead and announce, because he is worried Peaches will kidnap him.

What you gonna say if he picks Bama Rocky?
Very strong chance of him picking either finalist at this point
He could also very well pick Bama as a better "business decision" and you will see quotes about better proven NFL development and such or I also wouldn't be surprised with an AU pick and seems like his heart is there
I realize the optimism you had after the AU visit since he cancelled the UCLA trip but I think after being back home he is seriously considering both finalist school equally and mods from both sides reiterated that with "too close too call" predictions
JMHO
ETA: to me keeping him out of school had more to do with where he was at (torn and deciding still) than anything

I will say congrats Bucc it really won't effect my life other than helping the football team I strongly support. The great thing about making predictions is they are not binding to the athlete. Do you think they are anything more than that?
You have made many predictions that never panned out. Did it ruin your life, or anything terrible happen?
I don't consider any kid a lock until the LOI is signed. However, I predict that he will choose Auburn. The kid will go to the NFL wherever he plays Bucc if he is good enough to do so. I don't care why his father chose to remove him from school, that is their business and they (Rashaan and family) will choose the school they feel is best for Rashaan.
UCLA was just a booty call for him and with everything happening he made the right choice in cancelling it.
It is just recruiting bruh settle down and put your feet up. Regardless of what some think on here we don't have influence over any decisions. Unless of course you are auburnu008 who is a designated bagman.

I just meant in terms of what most of you have posted
It's a lot closer
I agree on the NFL barring something unforeseen, Bama just has a better history of it and track record under Saban, all I was saying
I am settled, gonna be an interesting week leading up until NSD my feet are up and I am thoroughly enjoying every single minute of it...and waiting in anticipation to see who Bama lands to finish out their class
