LSU will have a lot of impact newcomers (not just freshmen).

On offense, look out for

WR Quantavius Leslie - JUCO transfer. 6'4" and fast like D. Byrd. He is what LSU's passing game has been missing.

TE - DeSean Smith - 6'5" hybrid TE. Matchup nightmare. Will add serious threat to pass game.

OL - Fehoko Fanaika - Another JUCO transfer should add depth on oline.

On defense look out for:>

DE - Frank Herron - Can play outside or inside, has size and speed. Will contribute immediately.

DE/LB - Kendall Beckwith - I think we use him as a pass rush specialist this season from the DE position. We lack depth on DL so he'll probably play.

LB - Melvin Jones - Could be the answer at MLB.

CB - Tre'Davious White - Mo Claiborne all over again. Will probably take over the 3rd corner spot immediately unless Dwayne Thomas fends him off.

Defense: Tray Matthews, hands down.
Offense: JJ Green

Sleepers: LB Reggie Carter and OG Brandon Kublanow

Brice Ramsey would be my pick on O, but he won't see the field this year.

The entire Ole Miss signing class are my favorite players at their respective positions. Y'all already know this.

I am guessing that Tramel Terry will end up having a huge impact, possibly this year if his recovery from ACL continues apace, but the player has been greatly undervalued the whole recruiting cycle.

Tray Matthews and Carter seem the obvious picks to anyone following our practice reports. I don't like the JJ Green picks, I doubt he sees the field much at all behind Gurley and Marshall.

On offense, I think J. Rumph and Tramel Terry will have a big impact and on defense I am picking a pair of JUCOs, John Atkins and Leonard Floyd.

Quincy Adeboyejo- It always happens this way where a guy you didnt expect catches on faster than the star guy.(Laquon Treadwell)

Christian Morgan. He HAS to play so I think he will do well.
