The oddest thing Yancy does is judge kids dancing ability. Yes he's creepy because he all but stalks kid but he also gets more info because of his creepiness. That's his business. Yes McCready gets more respect but Yancy has a lot more followers. It's like comparing Nafoom to SPS. Yeah dawgstudent runs a terrible site, but he gets way more hits than Nafoom. It's business.
The other knock on Yancy is he's a "homer" and while he is its extremely overblown. He is smarter than Gene and Steve when it comes to not being too optimistic. He knows that if he pumps sunshine and is wrong, he loses credibility. Basically he only says things like "we lost skipper to arky because we slow played him". That's smart because there's no way to prove he's wrong.... Unless you actually remember that when signing day occurs. It's out now that Golson is ours. If we went after skipper and he committed to us that would mean we wouldn't have room for either Golson or Tunsil. Now if we lost one of them then of course we would take skipper. So you see he was correct in saying we slow played him, but because Yancy said it it is labeled as sunshine pumping when all the facts line up
