About the Mizzou NIL law. Why can’t an out of state NIL pay him in Mizzou since he’ll be there for his last HS year. So does Mizzou actually have any advantage since it likely doesn’t matter where the money giver is based only that he collects it in Mizzou. If so that would take Mizzou advantage away I’d think?

We'll have the ADs fight it out. I'm quite confident that most women could beat up Castiglione, and Desiree seems in shape.

I don’t claim to be the expert on in-state HS NIL and wasn’t the one that brought it to the board. My guess would be that the Mizzou state government structures it to give the state schools an advantage.
However if you believe YouTube sensation “MattBeGreat” schools are paying the HS players now regardless of laws.

No, the advantage is that Mizzou can pay as soon as an agreement is made, like financial aid, with in state athletes

You guys are missing his point because it's stupid, but he's saying that Missouri is better because our draft pick was a low 3-star and OU's multiple higher round draft picks were 4 stars or better.
Kenneth Murray was a 3* and a 1st RD draft pick.

Mizzou is pushing him to sign FA paperwork ahead of the new state law that would allow him to receive NIL money as a high schooler; that law takes effect 9/19/23.
Regardless of when the law takes effect, he can’t be paid until early signing day in December.

But who is paying? The state? If not and it comes from NIL donors they coukd be anywhere right? What stops an oiut of state donor or NIL from paying him in Mizzou? Does it soecify money has to come from in state for HS players?

Are you hedging your bets on this kid going solely after money while dismissing the fact he’d be triple-teamed on a low-talent d-line for the duration of his college career, on a team projected to win 5 games next year and a possible/likely coach regime change soon thereafter?
Do you think he want to be in the NFL, or not?

OU you need to chill the f out on this forum.
Just stating the facts of the Missouri law and the advantage it gives Mizzou with instate players. As soon as there is a financial aid or other agreement in place, they can be paid by Mizzou NIL. I believe it has to come from an in state source.
*to fundraise directly through its Tiger Scholarship Fund instead of a third-party collective, allowing donors to make tax-deductible donations for the express purpose of NIL deals
I have no idea what he will end up doing, pretty much no one does.

That is not true, he can be paid legally when the law goes into effect.

Future cast for OU. According to multiple OU insiders the family and OU were able to reach a deal. He’s all OU.

OU fans are losing their minds in this Nwareni thread. It’s like they want the recruitment to be over and the only team that is allowed to be sold on him coming to their team is OU.
It’s recruiting.
UGA led for KJ Bolden for two years and he committed to FSU.
These things happen.
