I have a few friends that are pretty important cogs in the Ole Miss recruiting machine and they are very open to the possibility that Nkemdiche will sign with LSU. That's why they're going so hard after Chris Jones the past couple of weeks.
If what I'm hearing is correct, Nkemdiche was sporting an LSU wallet this weekend. Personally, I can confirm this to be the case because I've seen pictures by Mississippi State friends of mine that were staked out at the Library in Oxford last weekend. Unfortunately, I can't share those on this forum.
All I know is that this kid of FAR from an Ole Miss lock. He'll be wearing purple and gold next year IMO.

I'm not asking you to believe me. I just told you what the guy said. I have no reason to believe this dude - who's been on BOL for years and built a good reputation - is just making stuff up about talking to Nkemdiche's coaches for fun.
I have no idea where Nkemdiche will sign. I suspect Ole Miss, but I have no question that at least 2 of his coaches believe LSU is a serious player.

I have no doubt W&L knew what he was talking about. He was one of the most respected people on any Bama message board I've ever been on. Not just because of his connections, but because he rarely posted anything - but when he did you could bank on it. In addition to that, he is/was also a pastor with some pretty legit connections with coaches and players through FCA.
