His GF is a freshman on LSU's basketball team. If we get him what Will Wade has done is nothing short of a miracle so far!

What does last season have to do with LSU making the NCAA tournament in three years under a highly functioning retard of a coach?
I'm just poking fun at auburn fans laughing at johnny Jones but giving Bruce 4 years to maybe make the NCAA tournament. There's a bit of irony in there.

The operative phrase is "what Will Wade has done". That's broader than just being in the hunt for Reid, which is not all, or even predominantly about, luck. I am very impressed with how he's remade the team in such a short period of time. Waters, Kiir, Edwards, et al., all in 2017. Luck has nothing to do with it.

At this point in Bruce Pearls timeline, he still wasn't even allowed to talk to recruits. Are you seriously trying to compare recruiting success to a guy who wasn't allowed to recruit?
Real talk though, Auburn just had a top 10 all time regular season W total season.
Let that sink in on just what a dumpster fire Pearl walked into. He is like 2 seasons away of 2nd or 3rd all time in wins

You listed a one good prospect and 2 marginal ones who'll take 2-3 years before they're contributers. And didn't a couple of the new guys get suspended already for shooting paintballs at people?
It'll be a 2 year minimum rebuild for Wade, anything else is just unrealistic

I think he's done a pretty good job. It takes a lot of luck too to make a final 4. stan heath made it to an elite 8. hell, John Brady made it to a Final 4.
I think Martin is a great x's and o's coach, but I can't help but wonder if he needs a
bagman. Last season he signed the 13th best class in the conference and doesn't have a single signee right now for 2018. His Final 4 run was incredible and deserves praise, but is Sout Carolina well positioned for consistent success? I'm pretty sure they lost a lot from last season.
