Mississippi doesn't put out a ton of great recruits
It's not a big state population wise and it has some pretty big areas with low population density and less athletic production.

After rereading my comment it came off as a dig at Mississippi. That was not my intent at all. Merely wanted to point out that the big recruits the state has are very high quality recruits.

I believe per capita Mississippi produces more NFL talent than most states.
Manning
Brett Favre
Jerry Rice
Walter Payton
Lance Alworth
Marcus Dupree (30for30)
DK Metcalf/ AJ Brown

On a yearly average you don’t have the numbers that others do but the state does put out some great players.

Well, Mississippi is 14th in the nation with 6 Blue Chip players in 2020.
The states of Washington and New Jersey put out more in 2020. Then compare that to:
Florida-59
Texas-54
Georgia-36
California-30
So, you can argue per capita, if you want, but that is a poor way to gauge, too.
Tennessee, Maryland and Arizona all put out more blue chips.

What I said was meant as a compliment, but if you want to turn it into something else go ahead. You will lose, though.

My point exactly. I probably was less elegant in the way I said it.

UGA is getting a great kid..He is a hard worker and has put extra time in the weight room and speed training this offseason. I'm expecting a huge season for him. Congrats!!

Thank you, sir! I saw an interview with him that was made shortly after his commitment announcement and he came off as a good kid. He has been at the top of my list from the beginning. I also liked Katron Allen a lot. They remind me a bit of each other.

Haven't heard that but he certainly has a similar build. Is he also a track guy like Chubb?

He also set the following records:
6A Bench Press - 370 lbs
6A Deadlift - 720 lbs
All Time 220 Deadlift - 720 lbs
All Time 220 Total - 1,720 lbs
This guy is gonna put up some numbers when he gets in a college strength program.

Pretty sure I saw where he runs track, too. I think it was the other Georgia web site I saw some comparing him to Chubb, and then I have seen some videos of him being compared to Chubb. Mainly due to size and running style. He looks to have a bit more speed than Chubb, although Chubb was not a slouch in the speed department.

Are we talking blue chip recruits, or college players? Because if it's the latter, Mississippi produces more NFL players than "blue chip" recruits. That publication you posted is made for people like you.

Not really.Looks like you rank around 15th with 44 players and obviously spread out over the course multiple recruiting classes.
LINK
ETA you still do very well when it comes down to per participant making it to the NFL.Probably top 5
