I know some are pressing Canada for potential spread DT quarterbacks, but I think this Brennan kid could do really well at LSU and Canada could tailor his offense to either Narcisse of Brennan.
I would think Canada's hire puts Brennan at ease with his choice of LSU.

He just shut down his recruitment. So much for coach O is terrible, the sky is falling, etc.

LSU is a good choice for him.
I do not blaming for reconsidering while there was no OC, but I think he can excel at LSU.
I still hope we get Narcisse, but I would not be surprised if he went back to LSU.

It was still a mistake on Coach O part. He knows his personnel. You run the system that fits your personnel. I think this started with him saying that he wanted a dual threat system then publicly offering a QB he shouldn't have. I am happy for Brennan because you could tell he really wanted to be at LSU.

Obviously, things changed a lot over the course of the OC hire. The whole "Coach O fricked up, how dumb, LSU is a dumpster fire" blah, blah, shite was way overblown.
