Top 2 JUCO players now committed.

The UNI transfer in Noah Carter. Cleveland state transfer. Kept our 4* in Aiden Shaw. Have Kobe coming back with some roster left to be processed I’m sure.

It’ll be fun but could be a disaster with all these new pieces. Coach Gates definitely putting in work assembling a roster very quickly.

Every offer out for 2023 and 24 class has only been for top 40 players. Im excited to see who CY brings in.

I just want to have a reason to watch. It's a long, cold stretch post CFB until MLB Spring Training (of course there's The Blues).

We do have the Blues but i am already anxious to see what Gates and all these transfers are gonna be able to do. Last year was over before it started. I have a good feeling about Gates and CY and the types of players they are bringing in M I Z

Juco recruiting rankings are interesting.

There are eight Juco players ranked by 247 and only four of them qualify for 247C. Neither of the two committed to Missouri show up on 247 or 247C unfortunately.

Alabama has a Juco kid named Nick Pringle that is #3 on 247, #3 on 247C and #5 on JucoRecruiting. That all seems pretty in line.

Blaise Kelta is committed to Nebraska. He's #5 on 247, #1 on 247C and #4 on JucoRecruiting. That all seems pretty in line too.

Tyrone Williams is committed to Oregon. He's #1 on 247, #2 on 247C and #11 on JucoRecruiting. Decent discrepancy there.

Jaykwon Walton is uncommitted. He's #2 on 247, unranked on 247C and unranked on JucoRecruiting. Seems odd.

It's probably even more difficult to rank Juco guys than it is to rank high schoolers. Don't really have a point to make, just thought it was interesting.

Nothing Mizzou will be interesting. Regardless of the sport. I am happy for y'all though that you no longer have to deal with Cuonzo

It seems like there isn't much dedication to it on the 247 side. I don't blame them, would be a lot to do. Plus, would make more sense to retroactively assess someone from the JUCO ranks then spend time scouring through all the JUCO players like High School recruiting. I am not sure if those listed were ranked or not coming out of high school either.

Not that it means a whole lot, but both Diarra and East for Mizzou were named 1st Team NJCAA, which is named by the NCJAA D1 Basketball Committee. I think they can be are legit contributors in the right role. But the jump from JUCO to SEC is going to be tough.

I think it's pretty simple, JUCO rankings generate next to no revenue so the services spend next to no time ranking them.

I hate rankings, but JUCO in particular are pm totally useless. The best you can say is that yes, a few of these players on this list will be good lol.
