(Because UGA wouldn't commit to him) Best of luck kid. Wish UGA had room for 2 tight ends because he will be a good one

Eh, we couldn't ever have Gurley, but I still wonder of we could've gotten Marshall. We were only takin one RB that year and took Brooks. Marshall is absolutely oversign worthy but they disagreed. We were up there for him when we shut it down.

Well allen was a uga commit then chose clemson over uga. We wanted him. This year and situation is totally different. We can only sign like 20 guys. TE isn't a huge need. We needed 1 and jeb committed (who is better than richard althogh richard is good). Read any article about Milan in the past 6 months and it is pretty obvious uga was his leader. Jeb just picked uga first

Wasn't Allen the guy who basically admitted to being paid while at Clemson in a pre-draft interview?

Richard > Rome

Both teams are more than fine at TE though.

Rome has barely had a chance to prove himself because we have been so deep at tight end. He came on strong at the end of last year though. Plus Richard has never played a college down yet

I actually think both made good decisions system-wise. Richard has the frame and athleticism to get up to 240, maybe 250 and maintain his ability to stretch the field. This is what Morris wants in his TEs and allows him to use him as the 3 back in the run game on counter actions.

Rome on the other hand is more athletic, trim and seems to fit the mold of what UGA wants from its TEs.
