Quite the take on a kid barely into senior HS season
He's is talented, it's what's between his ears that's the problem.

He has peaked athletically, lacks a motor, isn't in shape, and doesn't have it "between the ears". Poor guy.

Nah... I think the fact that he isn't interested in state seems to be the problem for yall

Sooooo explain the nearly 100 spot drop in the rankings in less than a year if nothing is wrong?

247 has him at 112... I don't see a problem with that

Well, if that were the case then he's a dumb arse.

He’s a guy that dominated and was more physically mature at a younger age but has just been average since competition has started to catch up. A low ceiling high floor type of player. He struggles with staying in shape and not taking plays off. If he can develop more of a motor the kid could dominate though.
So what you’re saying is that he is a Sopsher clone. Fat, lazy, takes plays off and gets dominated by 240lb high school OL?

Which programs do u think wouldn't take him right now?

Great question because honestly I don’t think he’s even on LSU radar any longer. Our needs are OL, DE/OLB, RB and Guillory because he is a must get from the state.
Now I’m not saying if Jackson changed his mind we would take him but I don’t think we’re actively recruiting him any longer.

From Bama’s 24/7:
On McKinley Jackson: “The Magnolia State standout released his top five earlier this month, with Alabama — as expected — safely making the cut. The Tide along with Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M will be vying for Jackson’s commitment, at this point expected on National Signing Day in February. A one-time LSU pledge, there are plenty of reasons for optimism on the Bama side, but it will be a battle to the end. Helping the Tide's cause are a pair of new assistants in outside linebackers coach Sal Sunseri and defensive line coach Brian Baker who both recruited Jackson at their previous stops.”

I doubt we’re no longer recruiting him.

LSU staff went to Jackson's game last night.

He’s having a pretty good year. Averaging 7 tackles a game and has 5 sacks through 4 games

I need to start following your posts to get updates of LSU staff visits. TIA

That was from a BOL poster in MS who's pretty "in the know" on Jackson and his recruitment. Shea Dixon (Geax247) recently indicated that LSU is mainly recruiting Jackson as a backup plan for Guillory and that LSU's confidence in signing Guillory is very high.

Yeah we are pretty1 confident on Guillory. Jackson would very likely be a backup plan to him. Its possible both could end up in class pending decommits and what not but doubt it.

Well forget it then. You’re useless
