No offense but I am not going to take the word of an ole miss fan when it comes to evaluating defensive talent lol.

Ahh yes i forgot that every recruiting site in the nation bases their rankings off of me, the Ole Miss fan. All of them. Moron.

Again, I never said he would end the year as the best in the state, I was simply stating that he is currently the #1 rated player in the state. State has offered him. State wasn't on his his final cut of choices. Now state never wanted him because they know something contrary to what EVERY other evaluator has said.

Again, theres always busts and theres always the no name kid who shines, but fact of the matter is, numbers and history show that blue chips are normally blue chips for a reason.

All i did was ask if State wouldn't make room for the #1 rated recruit and by the reaction I've received I would say you are acting like you think State wanted him but after he cut them out of his final list, they've pivoted.

I mean of course, I think we can all agree that everyone would rather have the #72 rated DT in the nation than the #10.

I guess I will add him to the list of future 4* MSU currently has committed.

Kinda like how multiple ole miss fans think Eli Acker is the best OT in the country despite being rated 33? But the ole miss staff has him rated as a 5* even though no one else does? It goes both ways pal lol

If his recruiting ranking was accurate he'd be at about 89-90 right now. He can move at 6'4 290.

Who says he’s the best in the nation? we are indeed very happy with Acker. Think he’s very very good. But you won’t catch me saying that we don’t want some blue chip kid bc he’s better? That’d be ignorant lol

And he’s an 88 and a top 500 player. Cooley is barely in the top 1000. Just stop embarrassing yourself.

You should apply to Scout/Rivals/247/ESPN baw. I bet you'd move to the top of the heap quickly.

Not Joe’s fault Mullen left huge holes on the roster that need to he filled. Mullen left a lot of talent last year but neglected certain position, like WR which he did for a decade, we had maybe 5 SEC caliber WR in Mullens tenure. Big reason a lot of those JuCos are WR.

Nice gotcha tho.

Cooley is the best DT in the state. Any coach in the state will tell you that. Every. Single. Coach. Including McKinley’s. This is like when we told you Chris Jones was better than Kimdeechee. Learn to take our word. Learn to love it.

Rankings are more important to Ole Miss fans than player ability.

There’s literally nothing on film to indicate Cooley is better, even camp film.

MSU is so disinterested in Jackson that they signed his cousin at the last second on signing day last year to get an in with him.

Hahahahaha thats the funniest thing I've read all day. The top 2 players in the state are literally DT's. And he's not even in the top 20. Take your maroon glasses off for just a second, stop reading rosebowl and whoever else, and be logical for like 2 seconds. The level of stupidity it takes to even type that is astounding and embarrassing.

Did you ever watch Rob actually play?? I mean yeah NFL wise he's a bust but I wouldn't have traded him in college.

We signed his cousin because we had an available spot due to a decommitment shortly before NSD at the DB position.

Ole Miss has signed a lot of 4* DT the last few years. None of them have done anything worth a damn really and State has multiple in the NFL but ya sure keep signing those high rated guys. seems to be working out for you lol

We've signed 3 4/5 star DT's in the past 6 years. You keep showing how bad you are at this, and I'm starting to feel bad about pointing them out.

6 years? Kinda random number to pick especially since you’ve been hammered for being cheaters and didn’t recruit top players during half of them. Let’s try this decade. Ole miss has signed 13 4/5* DL in the last 10 years. Not a single one of them was a productive NFL player.

Actually we’ve signed like 3 in 6 years...

Probably ends up at OM.

He's a good player, but he seems to have already peaked in HS.
