LSU hasn’t offered him?

He was offered.

Crystal Ball Outlook: Louisiana's Top 10 prospects

Louisiana's 2019 class is loaded with elite prospects, and the LSU staff has already handed out scholarship offers to all 10 prospects who rank inside the Top 10 of the Louisiana rankings on the 247Sports Composite.

Christian Harris - No. 13 ATH, No. 141 overall prospect
University Lab (Baton Rouge, La.)
Harris blew up on the recruiting scene this offseason, and now he’s landed more than 20 verbal scholarship offers. At 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, Harris could play a number of positions at the college level - which could take him to either offense or defense at his next stop. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and LSU are some Southeastern Conference teams to keep an eye on, and no decision date is currently set. Like with Lee, Harris’ 247Sports Crystal Ball is split between the Tigers and Tide.

I would not be surprised one bit if you have subscriptions to LSU, Bama, and A&M recruiting sites.
A 247 sub gives you access to all of the different schools message boards. When I know there is a recruit that likes multiple schools, I'll follow the articles and comments about that recruit on each of those schools' sites on 247 to get each of their perspectives on the situation.

Harris was offered but hasn't been a high priority. Kind of position less. Honestly not sure where we would put him.

His size screams LB. Considering how few SEC-caliber LBs there are nationally, I'm surprised he isn't an immediate take

I hope that’s true. Whatever gets him in maroon & white. Kid is a player for sure.
Even saw anLSU poster or two thinking he should be a 5 Star.

Well I will say the parish kid from Alabama is the real deal. We’ve got a few oos kids so far that are ballers. This class is gonna be a good one. Interesting upcoming season. LSU is loaded on D as usual but now we have a qb and group of WR and TE’s on offense that is very talented. Very good team. Very brutal schedule. Can’t wait!

Final 4
Nothing surprising.

I do not think he ends up at LSU or Bama

Doesn't show any interest in LSU

I’ll laugh my arse off if Bama refuses Harris’ commitment.

Aranda has been loading up with linebackers the last few recruiting classes so we finally don’t have this issue, with Miles though? Man, lb recruiting was frustrating with him.

Already happened. I think he'll end up at aTm because LSU and Bama aren't prioritizing him much, at least at the moment.

If LSU and Bama want to pass on a player some rank in the top 100 in the nation then I'm all good with it. Have you seen some of the guys LSU has taken at LB? Seems odd to pass on Harris but reach for someone like McCallum & Edwards.

I’m gonna trust Dave Aranda’s evaluation. I don’t care if he’s unranked, if Aranda prioritizes him go get him.

You're assuming Harris can play LB, he never has before, remember, he is just a raw athlete that has played WR/CB right now and may not end up at either position in college. He is a project at LB or really wherever you put him. His highlights are mostly of him at WR looking pretty raw but much bigger and faster than everyone else on the field which makes it easy for him. He obviously isn't a college CB.
Aranda has some of the best eyes out there for ILB and just doesnt seem to be pressing him at all. We took McCallum this past weekend and will finish at ILB with Donte Starks.
Rankings really mean nothing. We just told Zach Edwards to kick rocks after this past weekend in favor of a much lower rated ILB Aranda simply liked more in McCallum. And again, I'd trust that dude over about anyone for LBs. I wouldn't be upset to have Harris in my class, but just calling it like it is right now. He's just not a top priority, probably because he's truly position-less, but a great athlete.

So was Aranda's eye wrong on Edwards? Seems strange to accept a commitment only change your mind when pretty much no actual football was played between that timeframe.
