Basically comes down to derecruitment... Get him lit up a couple of times at practice early on, let leadership guide him, and put him on a short leash. If it goes well, he's probably worth it. If not, juco or the transfer portal is not far away...

Evans is a complete head case. He will be in the portal soon whoever gets him, so it’s really a irrelevant thing in the grand scheme. Recruiting titles won’t save Kirby on the field when his below average coaching acumen gets exposed, again...and again...and again.
