Nothing UGA on his twitter.

Clayton has nothing Colorado on it. Looking like we will take the package deal.

Guess we will just trade prospects with you guys, even though you got way more out of the bargain.

I don't want to get my hopes up yet.

I hope not. We are pumped about Van Pran. I hope he sticks. If he doesn't, then you will get a good one.

Are we back to laughing at UGA bc they can’t keep recruits? After so much money given to him

We'll see I guess. If true this is a new development within the last day or so. I could see how it might make sense in light of the Evans to UGA news considering his teammate Clayton was holding out hope for an outside shot at getting a committable UGA offer. But I dunno.

We have someone on another forum that is in regular contact with SVP himself and as recent as the last day or so all was still good with him and UGA. Losing Pittman was a blow, but he reportedly loves our new OL Coach Luke. So while everything in recruiting is fluid and this remains possible, until I hear otherwise from our guy that talks to SVP, I'm still comfortable where we sit.

How in the world would we follow recruiting without twitter?

Things were a lot less volatile, that's for sure!

I absolutely hate Twitter and don't much care for Facebook. It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all for them to go away.

I agree with you about social media.

Not like UGA needs Olineman anyways. Like LSU with WRs they’re stacked at that position.

LSU needs Van Pran way more than UGA needs him

UGA needed Burton way more than LSU needed him

Yep. Seems like a good deal. I'm good with LSU and UGA playing for an SEC championship every year.

No other team should be getting their hopes up just yet on SVPG nor Broderick Jones. The Dawgs are still the favorite on both.

With all the offensive lineman there was a reset on recruitment when Sam Pittman left but with hire of Coach Matt Luke that has been somewhat mitigated.

Not saying UGA definitely retains both but still looks like we lead.

Any idea why he didn't sign early?

He only changed the UGA header on his twitter from UGA because of the state championship for Warren Easton....He changed it to advertise and show support for that. Luke had a relationship with him at Ole Miss, and he solidified it recently while at UGA.

He always planned to sign in February. not sure why.

And, I am not as sold that SVP is coming to Georgia. I hope he is, but when dealing with a Louisiana kid that LSU wants is tough, at best. We will all know soon, I guess.

His school doesn't allow early enrollees. As far as I know he's never said why he waited to sign, but that's always been his plan.

Don’t act like uga fans don’t do this more than anyone. One of your long time posters accused Auburn of sending cam newton to a recruits house with cash last year

I never buy this as a valid reason. The coaches are masters at convincing committed guys to sign early and the ones they can't convince should raise a red flag.
