It's not hard to figure out, especially when the kid spells it out for you. He thinks his future is at LB but enjoys playing RB more. A kid who is use to touching the ball over 20 times a game would love to be able to do that at the next level but he'd also like to make it to the NFL and believes his best shot is at LB.

I'm sure there are plenty of people on this earth who have chosen a certain path in life even if it wasn't their assumed BEST path. Just because his best path might be LB, it doesn't preclude him from choosing the lesser path if it's what he enjoys more.
"I really enjoy teaching, but I'd make more money as an investment banker." Does this mean that I will definitely choose investment banking?
