Is TigerTV trying to get the NCAA on Les Miles? Dumb question to ask.

Even if you don't care for LSU, you gotta like Les Miles. Class Act.

What was that about a quality education and being from New Orleans?

My mom, sister, and bro-in-law met him once in a situation where he was out of the public eye, and he was genuinely as nice as he is on camera, as well as the staff members with him. I have all the respect in the world for him.

I love miles, but I wish he wouldn't pursue it. I don't want

Anybody at LSU that doesn't want to be there. You

Shouldn't have to persuade players to play for LSU

or Bama. These players are mature enough to make these

decisions without being coerced. I think players that are

fortunate enough to be offered by either of these schools

Sould feel fortunate. Neither LSU or Bama should fee they

are in a position to have to chase players. Good luck Monday.

I hope it's a clean game with no injuries. May the best team

Win. And none of this split title bs. Whoever wins is the

Champ Period!

Nah, he's still ok:

13.10.2 Comments Before Signing. Before the signing of a prospective student-athlete to a National Letter of Intent or an institution's written offer of admission and/or financial aid, a member institution may comment publicly only to the extent of confirming its recruitment of the prospective student-athlete. The institution may not comment generally about the prospective student-athlete's ability or the contribution that the prospective student-athlete might make to the institution's team; further, the institution is precluded from commenting in any manner as to the likelihood of the prospective student-athlete's signing with that institution. Violations of this bylaw do not affect a prospective student-athlete's eligibility and are considered institutional violations per Constitution 2.8.1. (Revised: 1/14/97)

Yeah I like Miles. Seems to be a bit spacey at times but seems like a great guy and can understand why players like playing for him. Sort of takes things as they come approach.

Not sure I quite understand the logic; So the first big time program that offers a recruit should get them? What a great problem for a kid to have... LSU or UA... It's up to the coaches to sell their program respectively.

Les is great. I see a lot of Bo in him. He's a true Michigan man.

John Bacon gives some really interesting insight into what happened in Michigans first coaching search in regards to Les.

Do you think these players don't already know what lsu and bama are all about?

It's like going to buy a Mercedes. The salesman doesn't have to e plain to you why their great. They sell themselves.

I feel that lc was a big boy, and he made his decision. I don't think LSU needs to go and beg him or anyone to come to LSU. Lsu sells itself. The same as bama. If the shoe was on the other foot I would say the same thing.

Don't get your gump panties in a wad. I was also giving bama a compliment.
Both of our schools have built their reputations to what they are today. Hope this clears it up for you. Good luck Monday. Stay classy

I hope not.

He wants to play at Bama. I say let the guy live out his dream.

Isn't it a violation to comment on a recruit or prospect before signing day?

That's about as dumb of a statement that I've read on this board. If a commit knows we like him yet he isn't sure he wants to come to our school or is leaning towards another then we should just stop recruiting him because we are awesome and don't need to waste our time. If schools had that mindset they'd suck. Thank God for you, LSU doesn't work that way nor does any other successful program.
