That's how I feel too. I'd rather have a 5 star DL than another stud DB. Priorities fellas. I think LC is a great player and would love for him to be on our side but the secondary isn't exactly what needs the most attention on defense at the moment IMO.

Exactly. I want LC really bad, and will be disappointed if we don't get him, but we still have talented DB's, including last year's #1 rated safety. We're losing several DE's after next year, and we're gonna need more stud DE's to take their place.

All this seems fairly irrelevant, seeing as the kid is in Orlando right now.

Neither side should have sources in Orlando with the game this coming Monday.

I think this is the stance of both teams as of right now. A lot of realization has set in on both ends that they might not get LC. One of us will and it will be a GREAT pick up, but as said millions of times during this recruitment, its not going to break a program if you don't get him.

Edit: I was talking about the fans of the teams, not the teams and their staff.

Agreed. I love talented DB's, but it all starts up front. A ferocious front seven can affect the game more than a blanketing secondary, IMO.

Also he has a brother who is younger and is already a top prospect.

Not worried about him, he's solid LSU lean right now... Also said that he and his brother would go to different schools.

If he commits to Alabama: Amazing speed for a big safety.

If he commits to LSU: Can't get off blocks.

I'm saying it shouldn't matter who has better sources in Baton Rouge because the kid isn't even in Baton Rouge right now.
