FWIW ECB I was VERY high on Ingram, kinda crazy how under the radar he was, kid was running track at 220 beating kids 175 and the son of a NFL player so athletic, had a monster sr year in HS, comparable to Yeldon this year, and he was like the 30th best player listwd in the state of Michigan when he committed to Bama

Seriously, let's look at some recent history on both sides.
Both mark ingram and tyran mathieu went basically under the radar and no one made a big deal when they signed.
Plus there have been some five stars that Bama got that fizzled. I am sure LSU has had the same.

Let's face it, this is only the BIGGEST COMMITMENT EVER because its an LSU-Alabama battle for an LA kid. According to all the recruiting services Eddie Goldman is actually rated higher than Collins but its almost become an afterthought.
Neither team really has to have him but that won't stop a really entertaining meltdown from happening.
