Good pickup y'all, I do think he is underrated by most services but then again, OT is the hardest position to really rank and recruit

It's hard to get over 4-8 and 3-9 seasons on the recruiting trail. I imagine if we hadn't flopped in year one with Bielema then he would be a Hog right now. Last year opened the door for other schools to get in on him and A&M took advantage.

well yea, I guess what I meant was there anything that changed recently that brought this on? cause it seemed recently that he was still leaning towards arkansas

You think your W/L record in year one of a new coaches was too much for two brothers to overcome? Sounds like the brothers aren't giving Arkansas rave reviews if their younger brother isn't going.

Still a full season between now and NSD so if y'all show improvement he might start to rethink it. Hope not for our sake

I can't imagine it being anything but our record unless you want me to give some copout reason like we stopped recruiting him as hard which seems to be a standard excuse on message boards.
It can't be a development or coaching reason because Sam Pittman is probably a top three or four OL coach in the country and Bielema's offense has been known to churn out NFL OL for years. We're probably one of the few programs that A&M can't use that pitch straight up against.
If I was another school, I would be pumping them full of the belief that Pittman or his brothers won't be there in a few years anyway so why go there. Seems like a no brainer to me. I can't imagine a school in the SEC that wouldn't be using that against us after the abomination we put on the field last season.

They actually rave about Arkansas constantly and have pushed extremely hard for him to come here. However, one is a senior this year and the other is a junior. He would spend one year here with one brother and that's it. That's not an extremely hard obstacle for another school to overcome regardless what crystal ball picks might want you to believe. Keaton has said as much numerous times but it seemed like none of the prognosticators ever listened.
