Sorry bro dwi.

That was a nice dime he threw to Mecole in the game Monday though. Maybe Chaney will turn him loose next year.

Yeah, Wims took the JUCO route and stepped on campus as a Sophomore. Godwin was recruited and brought in by Richt. I never give coaches credit/fault for what the coaches had done before them regarding single players.

Fromm? Hardman? Thomas? Swift? All brought in in Smart's first or second year and started. LeCount got significant playing time and will start next year, along with several others.

But I'll gladly say that the upperclass-led defense and star running backs were certainly Richt's doing and that Kirby walked into a favorable job.

Will you gladly agree that we would not have had the success this past year without the above players I mentioned?
Will you gladly admit that Richt never took us to the National Championship game with the talent he had on the roster, yet Kirby did?

Or do you think UGA was just that bad and Kirby cleaned house and made it into the powerhouse it is?
There is no denying that Kirby benefitted from a lot of the players that mark Richt brought in. Anybody would have to be a fool to not admit that. By the same token, anybody would have to be a bigger fool not to admit that kirby is bringing in even bigger talent, and took the talent that Richt wass struggling with and took it to the National Championship game.

Kirby has proven that he can recruit, and he has proven he can take top tier talent and go a long way with it.

Can he do it over a long period of time? that is the only question left unanswered. but to give Mark Richt all the credit is as dumb as not giving Mark Richt any of the credit.

football is easier to get in the league. Baseball players can play in the minors for their whole career without making the bigs
