I watched plenty of Nkemdiche tape trust me

He was a lot more effective in a Upshaw type role as an OLB rushing and dropping
quote:Do you honestly believe he would screw over his beloved Bama? He tried to steer him to Bama as much as he possibly could.
And I don't trust Coach Conn

I typed a lot of what I know about the whole situation out, then read it back (ah the memories) and decided to delete
Conn didn't have as much contact with OM's staff as he did with his teammate at Bama and roomie Clemson HC Dabo Swinney
But Conn constantly gave A LOT of people false hope about RN and our staff got too comfortable I feel and had they been handed the truth with a lot of the stuff that happened they would've had more than a snowballs chance in hell that in hindsight seems like the case.
There's obviously a lot more to this story than meets the eye and by the time OM got heavily involved (from the surface view, although I was told over last Summer by a Miss St alum who has a lot of connections in the state of Miss that he was going to ended up at OM at which I scoffed at the time and told him he was crazy, now I listen to him haha) I think Conn was way less involved and it was mostly his parents
But I'll say this, a lot of these recruits have HCs whom the parents trust because they have the experience with the recruiting process, and they should. It is the HS coaches duty to handle the recruiting process for the kid, they trust them, and Conn basically mishandled the crap out of it.
It is the reason the Mom got more involved and he at the end of the day ended up with his big brother at OM

Wasn't acting high and mighty at all buddy and I apologize if I came off that way
I have no doubt that he will be a great DE at OM, he did play a lot in that position, but his athleticism lended itself to him also being a dominant drop back LB as well, that was all I was saying
Conn actually did the complete opposite, on the surface for a long time it appeared that was the case, but coaches found out otherwise later. It is one thing to nudge or steer a kid toward one school, but it is entirely another to lead a staff on of a school when the kid has legitimate interest, for the sake of the underdog school

Magic I got a question for you my brotha
As you can see Im a huge Buccaneer fan as well and one of the UDFA's Schiano signed to a contract is very intriguing to me so I was wondering what you or any other OM fans could tell me on a CB from Ole Miss
Wesley Pendleton
I read where he was injured a lot of the year and he showed up at Pro day and ran a 4.3
40 and WASN'T drafted BUT apparently Schiano called him in the 5th rd and told him if he kept the 7th rd pick he was gonna draft him but ended up trading up to get Mike James, so Schaino already really liked him

The more people say that, the more i feel the jealousy pouring in....Man, its good to be on top of the SEC East. All these jealous fans from other schools only wishing they could touch the SECCG. Ahhhhh.

Solid player.
Has the raw speed to play corner in the league. Maybe not 1-2 corner type ability but he could break into the Buccs rotation for sure.
To me it will mainly depend on his coachability. If he can improve his technique and ball skills, he could be pretty good bc he absolutely has the speed.

I really wish Georgia would stop trying to make us their rival.

No UGA fan wants to make Ole Miss our rival. You guys just talk all big and its fun/easy to get your feathers ruffled. Enjoy the bottom half of the SEC AGAIN
