You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Those standards are the minimum set of requirements. Schools often set specific requirements over and above those standards to meet criteria set by the state and/or academic department. Requirements for transfer students is often even more stringent and are often set based on the type of degree the student is trying to obtain.

Idk how Idk what I'm talking about when I basically said the same thing. Academic standards are always set at a minimal. How is what you said different than what I said? For certain kids, sure, there will be a higher standard set by the school, but your minimal standards allow you to take a kid like Moton. If the kid is good enough, y'all will let him in if he meets the SEC standards which is the point I made.

It's not like their Big 12 standards were any better. How many times did JuCo kids end up in the Big 12 because they were ineligible under SEC minimum requirements?

Academic standards were really high in the Big 12 among the AAU schools: Texas A&M, Texas, Colorado, MIZZOU, ISU, Kansas, and Nebraska (until 2011) and none of them are as good as you would expect them to be in football.

OU, OSU, KSU, Baylor, and Texas Tech to some extent all owe their success in football to being able to take on the more "questionable" academic performers out of high school. KSU and Baylor have specifically targeted JUCO kids via specialized programs that gain them acceptance. I have not followed TCU or WVU's programs, but I don't believe they are top tier academic institutions.

Yep, only good enough to beat Arkansas every year since entering the SEC.
