This is how he had them.

1T Bama
1T Ole Miss
2 UF
3 A&M

Would be a big get for who ever ends up with him.

Didn't this guy steal a car or something in HS?

Not that I know of. I think he didn't qualify but finished JUCO in 1 year so he has 3 years to play. But I could be wrong.

I just remember Georgia recruiting him when he was in HS, but some big legal issue came up iirc.

ETA: found it

What is the point of that? After Jonathan Taylor, you think there is a stigma on who Bama takes out of juco?

Sensitive much. Someone asked if he had been arrested.

Does he have academic issues? Looked like he ranked the schools from most to least likley to academically qualify.

A&M is a great academic school but please don't act like they would turned down a qualified player they want.

Actually, according to a former player and Rodney Orr, Ole Miss felt they had him before he visited Bama this past weekend. He's visiting Bama again this weekend. Heading into this weekend, it could go either way.

A&M and the tu actually turn down borderline players all of the time. This is a misnomer of SEC fans who think that every great player is coming to the school. Borderline players normally often go to Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Kansas State.

Really?

Here is an article of A&M taking a kid that didn't qualify and had to build his GPA just to qualify. I have no poiblem with this and the kid is providing a lot to the university. But come on now let's be honest.

Moton is a good talent and we have a spot available. Proud of him for getting his academics in order.

Sumlin is somewhat more averse to academic risks than some coaches, but right now we have some extra spots open.

Coatney would be smart to wait until he knows what the NCAA decision is on Ole Miss if he is interested in going there.

He'd have to wait until fall camp. What punishment do you think is possible that would keep a croot from OM? The only infraction that no one knows exactly what happened is the academic stuff that happened 6 years ago. The school that currently employed the guy who committed the infractions didn't receive anything that would push a kid not to go there, so I'm just curious to whAt you think could happen to OM to do that same.

Good for Moton like I said I have no problem. Hope him the best.

He is committing May 5th. With Ole Miss it looks like one of the parties asked for 30 days is the word. So look May 30th. We will know what's in it. I'm interested to see how the Saunders accusations compare to ULL.

The reason he is a recruit in play this late is because no one expected him to graduate from JC in 3 semesters. Given that he's graduating early, and all public SEC schools have the same standards when it comes to athletes, outside of some online class standards, no academics aren't an issue.

Once you joined the SEC your academic standards are the same when it comes to athletes as us poor MS schools so come down a little off your academic pedestal. And as someone else said above, you are taking a kid that LSU passed on because of academics and MSU couldn't get into school. Welcome to the SEC
