Announces at 10 am tomorrow (12/10). Finalists are VT, FSU, UGA, Oregon, and Ohio State. No one knows for sure where he's going.

UGA appreciates the support of our SEC brethren.

Didn't go with him to FSU, went to UGA and VT.

Quite frankly, anyone that claims they "know" or "have a pretty good indication" of where he's going is blowing smoke out of their arse. This kid and his family have played it so close to the vest that it's really impossible to know. That being said, I feel like he stays home and goes VT.

Here is a local article

quote:

By Larry Rubama The Virginian-Pilot © December 9, 2014 CHESAPEAKE Carlette Sweat knows where she wants her son to go to college, but she's not letting on. "It's his choice; it's his decision," she said. "Wherever he goes, we're going to support him." Her son, Josh, is one of the nation's top recruits in the Class of 2015. The Oscar Smith defensive end will announce Wednesday where he will go to college. Sweat's senior season ended when he suffered a knee injury in late September. Immediately after the injury, Josh said he wondered if major colleges would back off. They didn't. He visited Ohio State in September and traveled to Georgia, Florida State and Virginia Tech last month. His recovery from surgery kept him from flying to Oregon until last weekend. Sweat was on the sideline Friday for Oscar Smith's loss to Ocean Lakes in the Group 6A South Region championship game before departing for Oregon. "He's feeling good and he's walking and everything," his mother said. "So he felt like he could make the trip to Oregon. He put them in his top five." She, along with Sweat's father, William Washington, will sit down with their son tonight. His news conference will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oscar Smith. But before he makes any announcement, his parents had a few questions, specifically "Does this school feel like home?" "And can my family get there?" Carlette said laughing. "But if not, we'll still have a family base set up to make sure he gets that support that he needs if he's far away." She added that at the end of the day, every school they've visited had great facilities and education programs. But she said, "He has to feel comfortable with the coaches." Sweat will graduate from Oscar Smith later this month and enroll in January. "It really hasn't hit me yet," said Carlette. "But I felt really good at one school in particular... but I won't say."

Because he hasn't told anyone dick

Anything you see from any of the scrip sites saying they're leaning one way or another is stretched truth or speculation trying to garner page hits and new subscriptions.

In these types of recruitments the home team is almost always favored. Anything else would be a bit of a suprise. That being said, I like our chances just as much as anyone else but you have to believe VT is the team to beat.
