Not every kid from their home state wants to attend the flagship, this seems to be the case with Emery.Davis is a different story
Provided LSU has a pretty good season, I think they'll get Noah Cain.

Everything with Cain seems to point in our direction. Emery is elite, but Cain is really damn good. He and Davis paired together is an incredible running back class.

Emery just got bumped to a 5* on 247. #2 RB and #16 player overall.

Seen that. State is fixing to get that 5*

LSU about to put on that full court press now. Gunna be hard to pull him out of the boot.

I heard his interview and don't even sound like he was considering LSU. It's either Georgia or MSU

Because they weren't already doing this?

I dont think a ranking change after 7 on 7s in shorts is changing how we've been recruiting anyone.
The goal remains the same at RB, we want Emery and Cain badly. We realize we are unlikely to get both in a class of 3 elite backs to go with Davis though. Chances are we end up with 1 or the other and have 2 RBs in the class. We recruit both Cain and Emery heavily as we've been doing for a year+

Dak Prescott...
Was 3-star even at the very end and his offer from us was as a TE, you'd have a better point with Key Thompson who blew up his senior year and shot up rankings.

Judging by the downvotes, there appears to be a State fan monitoring this thread.

Passed on Jason because we got two 5 stars in Chase and Marshall
Passed on Keytaon because they chose Brennan and Narcisse over him.

Dak Prescott...
Good try.

Whatever makes you feel better cause that is nonsense, Key had zero interest in playing for LSU/Miles and made that public knowledge.
He was Mullen all the way and frankly any QB in the run/passer category would be foolish to not take a long look at whatever program he is with.

He had almost 5000 yards and 56 tds his senior year and won his district. Sorry your staff sucked (and still does) at evaluating QBs.

Devonta wanted to sign with LSU but was told no thanks. LSU then proceeded to sign two five-stars, one who Texas A&M proclaimed was theirs and a former Gator pledge.
Feels good man.

Brennan, Narcisse and Burrow says otherwise...
