Like most things Deion related, Jackson State swelled up out of irrelevance, achieved less than they should under his tenure, and then deflated as he left in them middle of the night.

Deion won more games in 2 seasons than the previous 3 JSU coaches combined across 7 seasons. Not sure how you could say they achieved less than they should in his tenure.

But if you believe that, then this guy should feel right at home under Jimbo.

Of course they did . . . he quickly pulled in more elite athletic talent than the school or conference had seen in the prior 50 years. Despite that overwhelming talent advantage, he did not win a conference title.

He won 2 conference titles and didn't lose a conference game his only 2 full seasons there.
