Congrats.. Those titles just mean more and more that your coach is a underachiever. Mark Richt 2.0 Nice offense too
I don't like brag threads...but....
Your response seems odd. Saban has gone from getting blown out of the NC game to not making the playoffs and he has had a lot more #1 classes than we have. Does that paint him as an underachiever?

I guess it does for at least the last two years, right?

Based on the current rankings yes. After the changes it might get interesting. Regardless of how it shakes out, Clemson, Bama, UGA, OSU and LSU all will have classes a cut above everyone else.
Exactly. I mean we have spots available, but so do the other schools. Like you said....there are is a lot of talent going to all of those schools.

Thaiu Jones Bell said today in an interview that multiple SEC schools tried to flip him at the end including UGA. The UGA recruiting pitch? To talk bad about Alabama. The results? That made him want to go to Alabama even more.
Curious. Do you have a link to that?

Other additions besides Darnell, Zach & Kelee?
Sedrick Van Pran, Broderick Jones and we are trying to get Mckinnley Jackson.
Jackson is a reach, though.

Once you are in the top 5. The class rank does not matter much. Get players in the program and coach them up..recruit to a roster need and a system.

The research says top 10 at least 3 of 4 years and you have a chance

The guy who acts like uga is the only school that tries to flip players?
Posted on 1/1/20 at 10:51 am to atlanta917
No. Everyone does. Georgia just wants all the visits to be in secret. And then throws a bunch of shite against the wall when negative recruiting against the competition.

But can you give us a link so we can read the whole story? Right here before a lot of kids commit (or at least announce who they signed with) I am always interested in reading stuff like that. TIA.

ETA
I have honestly tried to find the interview with Google and can't find it. I am not accusing you of making it up.....I just wanted to read the interview.

Why does this matter?

And then throws a bunch of shite against the wall when negative recruiting against the competition.

Every time a program/coach says something he negative recruits.
If a coach says, "We can get you to the NFL" he is insinuating other schools can't, or they don't do as good a job. Alabama fans seem to be especially sensitive these days.

My guess is that Georgia likes for visits to be quiet so the school a player is committed to (or maybe recruiting against) won't talk them out of the visit.
Do you think it is good for a coach to talk recruits out of going on visits? If you think it is okay, then why is it not okay for a coach to want to keep a visit quiet?

Georgia wants every visit to be secret? Sounds like a bit of hyperbole. Only 2 instances and Burton wanted his to be secret.

Alabama fans think their school doesn't negative recruit. But, I guess it all depends on what you call negative recruiting. If you say your school has won championships, you are implying other schools have not...or at least have not to the degree that Alabama has. Is it true? Yes. Is it negative recruiting? yes.
For any fan to think that all other schools recruit wrong, but their school does not is just a way to make themselves feel better about their own school.

If another school points out that Alabama's depth chart is deep and backed up, is that negative recruiting? yes. Is it true? yes.

Somewhat amusing how bitter and hated Kirby is among Bama fanbase. Kirby is recruiting the same way for UGA as he did for BAMA.

Kirby went after Branch, Young, Anderson and Jones-Bell in the last week -- with his negative recruiting MO.
Saban doesn't even know how many players are allowed on a punt return. How's that for negative recruiting?

U think so? What bout how Georgia plays in bowl game?? Will any Georgia players be ready to play? Georgia has half a team going to the bowl game, lot play makers are out for different reasons.

UGAs culture is not championship standard. Kirby has basically instilled a culture of “if you’re not in then it doesn’t matter”. That’s why UGA has that quit in them.

We will. Glad he is getting away from his terrible high school coach
