He was trolling for a response.

Alabama has about a 20 percent chance of getting brown. About the equivalent to LSU getting Humphrey

I'm not starting a new thread about this, but going through yalls recruiting thread (which I can no longer post in even though I never flamed in it), there was some mentions of Bailey Granier.
What position are yall looking at for him? I've heard he's a guard at the next level and will need to prove himself against better competition on the field. But he seems to have a lot of potential. I don't think LSU is going to offer though since we just locked up our two guards with Clapp and Brumfield.
It's still possible we offer, but unlikely. His situation reminds me of Santa Marina from last year, but I think he's more talented and already better physically.

Has Humphrey ever visited LSU? We have had Brown on campus twice this spring.

So not really. He came to LSU to watch Bama play. Doesn't count.

He hasn't specified yet from what I've seen, though it came out yesterday that he's higher on the board than initially thought(with Hootie Jones being lower than thought).
He's still feeling out Bama, but he's warmed up to them. He liked the weight room and Coach Cristobal, and he actually went up to Barrett Jones this past weekend and said "I wanna size you up"
One of his coaches said he was a big Nick Saban fan, but it's clear to see he'd pick LSU if he had the offer.

I wasnt knocking anyone for it. I had just remembered one or maybe a few auburn fans asking if he was a take in various threads.

One thing to note, Ruffin is being recruited as a CB/S/Star for Bama, something the other prospects have not mentioned in their recruitment.

See guys, it's possible to have an informative thread without it devolving into shite.

I guess STAR is different in Johnson's defense, in Saban's that just the fancy name for the nickelback. It might be closer to the MONEY, which is more of a S/LB hybrid.

If the single is a sign for the album, then it's gonna be amazing.

Lot of versatility in that defense, probably my favorite system. Pro wise it produces several SS or WLB depending on how big they get(Holloman at USCe was playing SPUR at 240).
It the system I said for years that would match Malzahn's offense well, and now it's actually happened.
