This is a public high school facility? That's crazy unless it was donated or something.

Was thinking the same thing.....but...Carrollton High School has some amazing facilities, too. I know some high schools in Texas are like college facilities. Seems odd that kids at some schools have to buy a lot of their equipment and then some have facilities like this.

I think Carrollton has a ton of support from rich donors.

Here are some pictures of some of their facilities:

Football Stadium

Indoor Practice Field

Why would a UGA fan care where Texas high school kids play football?

I absolutely do not. Was just responding to another poster. Why can't an Ole Miss fan follow a thread?

Notice I didn't start a thread about it.

ETA
Gotta love it. More cowards that want to down vote and then run instead of facing a post like a grownup and discussing what was said that was wrong.

I’m not a very political guy but I can tell you right now I’d be at the town hall meeting bitching about property taxes haha

I honestly don't know how all of that was funded. Whether it was taxes, private donations, or what.

And, for the Ole Miss fan....Carrollton is in Georgia, not Texas. (I probably muddied the water when I mentioned that Texas schools had some great facilities, as well) In fact, the #4 QB in the country for 2025, Julian Lewis goes to school there.

It is, my son has been to several camps at that facility in Opelika.

It is crazy how nice that place is.

When I lived in Mandeville LA, given that was over 20 years ago, they were building a high school football stadium.

I noticed the neighbor's kid never brought homework with him and asked the dad. He said the school cant afford to give all the kids books so they have to share them and leave in the classroom.

Nice priorities eh.
