Huge Kentucky OT enters portal

6'8" 340 lbs Kiyaunta Goodwin has entered the portal. Signed with Kentucky in 2022. Probably, recruited by Wolford. Bama lost some Ol players to the portal. They need to add some OL depth.

And Alabama’s current OL coach recruited him to Kentucky. But I don’t think he’s going to transfer to Alabama to be depth at tackle. But I guess he could compete for a guard spot.

He's had offers a bunch of places, lsu and Georgia are two of them. Said it's about NIL money. Git to pay today's college free agents.

Honestly have no idea. I guess he wants more than he's getting. College athletes are now just paid contractors. Highest bidder will win.
While a starter, he's been an underachiever. Might be why his pay isn't up to the standard he wants.

Saban offered him when he was in the 7th grade. Told him in 2021 he was one of the top players in the country. Seems like he was pursued for a long time.

Possible that Goodwin takes his name out of the portal. Either way, kid needs to seriously consider the physical shape it takes to be a D1 tackle

If he couldn't see the field for UK with our train wreck of an O-line he sure as hell wouldn't play for Bama. He can play for UK IF he works hard. IF he had shown something then yeah Bama might go after him.
It was down to UK and Michigan State when he committed last year. I hope he comes back AND works hard. If he isn't going to put in the work it won't matter where he goes.
