Completely disagree with that. Maybe they’re misleading on occasion (because of a player who doesn’t develop senior year), but for the most part that is a great way to view how good most people think a certain kid is.

You may read a player's profile and see 35 offers but only 2-3 schools would take their commit.
Especially with schools that throw offers out like candy.
The Owens situation was already explained to you.
If Owens did not commit to Texas he would have offers to any school he wanted.
In San Antonio two players stood out.
Ealy and Owens.
Ealy to me is the #1 RB but his offer list is no where close to the early bloomers at the position.

Depends on what you would call, "the shite". Aside from my first deployment when it was basically the wild west it's been staff work and endless meetings.
I've probably had about 8 brushes with death in almost 19 years, 4 of them deployment related.
