Yes. Mitch Mustain was #1 on Scout. Worked out well for us.

Clowney and back with Todd Ellis back in the 80s possibly IIRC he was reguarded as the top an that year so on not sure if that translated to 1 overall. Scrooster should know

Kenneth Hall and Randy Simmons were consensus National #1 but it was before recruiting became what it is now.

Sirr Parker wasn't a consensus #1, he would be kind of like Joe Mixon this year (solid 5 Star RB from Cali).

I want to say Champ Bailey was pretty high but not number 1. I didn't realize Hines ward was that high. Hershel Walker was number 1 .
