so he's your alter then? I didn't post a single word in this thread about LT, it was 100% about that alter UGA fan. Soooo I guess it's you.

how you reacted when we signed Denzel Nkemdiche

I reacted appropriately. He went to ole miss bc he could actually get in (which he wouldn't have at UGA) and they wanted to get robert. If his name was joe smith you think they would've wanted him as bad as they did? Now, I will say DN has turned into a pretty good player for yall and I have nothing bad to say about him. But if you don't think OM offered him to get robert you're crazy. It's no different than us offering quayvon hicks to help sway crowell.

Yeah I mean there wasn't even any effort put into that alter. At least try to make it seem like you are SORT of a UGA fan.

Anyone know Tunsil's grade situation?

Also, what are Georgia's academic requirements for scholarship athletes compared to Ole Miss'? I wasn't aware they were was a significant difference.

I don't think our unwillingness to dole out cash to 18 year olds means we can't close. Look at who we felt good about 24 HOURS AGO. I'm as pissed off as anyone else on here, but you can't blame Richt and staff for this. The past few weeks every person on staff has busted his arse flying all over creation 7 days a week meeting with these kids and their parents. Aside from blatant cheating (like ole miss is doing) and simply paying kids or offering a scholarship to their brother/fiancee/sister/anyone they know, what else could we do? The answer is nothing.

It's Mississippi, that's why I have a hard time with this. The "flyover-est" of flyover states.

Was that in this thread? No, it was in a recruiting thread on our UGA board. I can get mad all I want over there with my people, but I usually try to remain level headed on the public boards. IDGAS what I post on the UGA board as it relates to how "mad" people think I am.

In THIS thread, the one we're currently typing in, the first post I made was calling out a clear alter. So, I guess calling out an alter makes me "mad" huh.

No idea, but our requirements for full ride scholarships to out of state non-athletes are much higher.

The fact that you would trade Richt for Freeze is where you lost me.

Based on what? This is a completely serious question with no animosity attached to it. I'm very curious why any reasonable adult can look at Richt's SEC head coaching career and Freeze's 1 year and say that Freeze is better. In no way, shape, or form is Freeze a better coach than Richt.

Lookin like W G Dawg is right.. Any true Georgia fan would fire back like crazy if you questioned their allegiance.. Hell, any true fan of any SEC team would.. OP just ran and hid instead.. fricking alters... I can understand creating one if you get banned but just doing it to promote your school would take the gheyest of the ghey.

And that was my opinion with no animosity attached. Some peoople make statements like that based on accomplishments, but some people haven't had the opportunity yet for those accomplishments. I think if you put Freeze in Athens there would be no dropoff if not improvement. You put Richt in Oxford and I don't think he would be as good as what Freeze would do there. It's purely conjecture and that's all we have when comparing them.

Well yeah but admissions for non-athletes and for athletes are totally different things. Schools even have things called "special admissions" for people who "didn't quite qualify academically but bring something special."

It's not intended to be used solely for athletes (but it is)

ole miss is about to out-bid bama and Georgia. no way I believe ole miss (who had to win the egg bowl to be bowl eligible) can land rn, tunsil, the wr, all in one year without money floating around. ole miss has probably never had 3 five stars in one class let alone 3 oos 5 star players. if chris jones joins in (I don't think so) then they will have the top 3 guys on 247. that has never been done BY ANYONE before. more than coincidence or good recruiting going on here.

No way in HELL they aren't cheating. A middle of the road SEC team simply doesn't recruit that many five stars without something going on. Add that to the stories about RK's Dad, the Treadwell photos, and sudden last-minute flips and there is simply too much smoke to ignore.

If they were all Mississippi kids, perhaps since they are the state school. But they aren't. Not even close.

Something stinks BAD down in Oxford, and the NCAA will be down there in less than a year with idiots like Treadwell tweeting stacks of cash...
