My guess is this thread started out on the LSURB months ago even when he was considered an LSU lock, the ACT is his major hurdle and he will need a very large jump to qualify.

I guess we will see. Until the staff starts to worry, I don't worry. I am glad a bunch of guys on a message board that heard from their buddies know more than a staff directly involved with his recruitment and who took his commitment.

He showed everyone how intelligent he was when he started mouthing off to his new teammates. He gone, Juco.

A very high percentage of highly rated kids have entitlement issues. A good amount of them don't "know" other commits, especially if they are an OOS kid like Willis is. That is something that generally changes within the first week or so on campus.

Ummm....Congratulations? There is just something particularly ugly about an LSU fan so stung by in-state recruiting losses that he runs to a recruiting board to post a rumor about an in-state kid that LSU missed on possibly not getting the grades that he needs.

I obviously wouldn't cheer for GW against LSU, but otherwise I was hoping he succeeded. I love watching Florida's defense.

Granted that's just me, but this is a recruiting board and all he did was post news related to a recruit we were in for til the end and some think he may still flip, for some reason.

So you're spreading rumors then? I thought that was frowned upon on this board

Are you serious?

That's literally what the recruiting board is entailed of.

I don't see the big deal.

this board is literally full of rumors on a daily basis.

Recruiting talk in general is usually nothing but hearsay.

Yall are being ridiculous.

You're probably right, this is probably just a rumor. It's hard to imagine someone being dumb enough to not score higher than a 14 on the ACT. Maybe he forgot that he was GWIII and put GW Jr. as his name.

I live in Nola as do many on this site. Do you think that kids, parents, etc. do not talk about these things amongst themselves? That's typically how a lot of info gets leaked. Willis was supposed to be an early enrollee. Didn't happen. These may be rumors in the fact that it hasn't been confirmed by the family, but there seems to be a lot of smoke in the Nola area about not qualifying. Perhaps he can pick his grades up by graduation and get there for summer practice. Certainly don't wish any ill will on this young man.

I am sure there's tons of smoke on it. None of this smoke really was talked about before picking UF though. Guess everyone is just now figuring it out. All I can go by is what the UF staff is saying. They feel fine right now.

I think he can as well, my only concern & the person I was talking with, is to get to a 18 he needs a 5 point jump which the NCAA will flag. He will likely will have to do it twice.

I guess all these other people that are "hearing" are going by that 1 post. Nice. Also noticed that came from August, that was a long time ago. Anybody else trustworthy and close to the situation saying anything now?

You insinuated that this was just sour grapes cause he left the state, and I just proved it's been talked about well before that. It's come up several times between now and then, all heresay from Karr, and I heard it from someone who doesn't read TD. Believe whatever you want, and he may end up qualifying, just don't act like this is coming from nowhere.

All I've said is the ONLY thing concrete I have to go by is what the UF staff is saying. The back and forth is tiresome and unnecessary. We will find out in August.

Wrong. Was discussed on another LSU site when it became clear he had no chance of being a mid term grad (this was when the 5 for 5 was still on). The info at that time put into question whether he'd EVER meet the ACT requirements.
