It's a way for the team/ownership to maximize their control. The sooner he starts at the major league level, the sooner he's eligible for arbitration, the sooner he's eligible for Free Agency, the sooner he's no longer a Pirate....
There's no reason to start the clock for a team that's not ready ...

Not helpful to this subject at all, but Randle has a running back class of 2027 that appears to be legit. Related to the Rogers brothers that attended Oregon State.

The 6a schools play in the same district during regular season play, idk the reason other than they’re down the street from one another.
For the playoffs, schools get split into D1 or D2 based on enrollment. New realignment number indicates Desoto will be 5a D1 next season....

I watched the PNG game live as all games are streamed on YouTube starting this year.Fwiw, PNG was state runner up in 5a D2, and the defense is returning several starters.
Beaumont United is a newer 6a school which was a forced combination of Ozen/Central post Harvey. The basketball team is AWESOME,...
