If he picks you guys it will be a excellent pickup but like Magilla said Rivals likes to rank on who they think is college ready. Kwon has allot of potential, but he needs some time in a Div1 S&C program

Bama isn't recruiting him near as hard anymore
Bama isn't recruiting him at all anymore because he performed so poorly in games this fall before he was hurt, then he blew out his knee. And the big knock from the Oxford folks is he is one of those bare minimum guys, that he just does the bare minimum to get by. I. Crowell part II.

You're sadly obsessed with Auburn.

Magilla knows whether this is true or not, but I have never heard anyone say this about Kwon

Gus Malzahn was in Jackson yesterday recruiting Jeremy Liggins

Where do you feel his best projected position is in college?

Does he mean grades or on-field?
Regardless, I haven't heard either in relation to Kwon Alexander...

On the field. This is directly from people in Oxford and even discussed on other boards. There is a reason we stopped recruiting him, and its not because he isn't a perfect fit for our system.
The kid could develop into a very good SEC LB. I am not saying he will be a bust or a terrible prospect. I am saying that Bama has quit recruiting him.

Are you going to say the same thing when Yeldon enrolls at Auburn?

2010: 147 tackles, 17 sacks, six forced fumbles, and three fumble recoveries
2009 (11 games): 147 tackles, 91 solo, 51 tackles for loss, nine sacks, five forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery
If that's "bare minimum," then I can't wait to see what he does when he starts trying.

Magilla is from O-Town, so if anyone would know, it'd be him. Everyone is labeling you as FOS, FYI. Kind of like BuccWildBammer.

I actually have a close family member on the team at Oxford. I know the baseball coach, Brooks, personally. I am merely saying that Bama has stopped recruiting KA.
Are you disputing that, or that the kid doesn't work out very much?

Luper is making an in home visit with Yeldon today, and Gene Chizik and Luper will make one next week as well.

He has been All In the whole time. Just making his early enrollment suspenseful.

What potential early enrollees are committed or on our radar?
